Background & Counselling Experience

Person Centred Therapist (BACP)

Supervisor (Certificate in Clinical Supervision Online & In-Person)

Sheffield / Chesterfield (In-Person) / (Remote)

I am a experienced Person-Centred Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and registered member with the BACP.

I have over 10 years’ experience of working with therapeutic groups, counselling and working with clients presenting with a range of issues from stress, bereavement, loss, anxiety and depression.

My experience has been gained from a number of workplace settings, from working with large mental health and grief charities, as well as in community and voluntary sectors, and in private practice.  I also work as a National Mental Health Trainer, which keeps my skills current.

I have a caseload of clients and supervisees in the mental health field and supervise therapists new to and in private practice or supporting settings.

A small selection of what clients have brought, and which I have worked successfully with are:

  • Infertility, baby loss, IVF

  • Life changes; job, retirement, life after loss

  • Relationship issues; affairs, divorce

  • Work issues

  • Self-image / Self-worth; feelings of loss of self / identity

  • Isolation / loneliness and sadness; including anxiety and depression.

I offer a free initial discussion on first enquiry to talk about how we could work together.
